William (Ze Hua) Chen

William graduated in 2024 in CS and began working as Software Engineer and part-time Product Manager at Roblox. Before his transition into tech, he was a violinist/pianist who also formed a Piano Trio that performed across Asia. He now lives in Mountain View with his dog, an Akita Inu named Shuai Shuai.

During his years at Brown, he was a TA for UI/UX CS1300, CS2 and a student ambassador for the CS Industry Partner’s Program. When he was not hosting TA hours in the CIT or convincing tech companies to pay Brown CS department membership fees, he spent his time trying every restaurant on Thayer Street. Little known fact is William worked at the Ratty for a few weeks to find out what the kitchen was like.

William is an avid foodie and aspiring Restauteur, opening a Szechuan restaurant called Sky Pavillion NYC in Times Square. After moving to the bay, he founded moss matcha, to try and bring premium Chinese matcha to the US.
